Put simply, price and volume spikes are common on Solana. Most fade within hours. Alex Rt₿ Community keeps the FDV Surge feed open to measure how many do not.
One habit: Divide 24-hour volume by liquidity. A very high ratio can mean churn between a few wallets. Check whether the move started before or after the first public call.
Checks before any trade
